In 2019 it was unimaginable for us that we can no longer and will not hold this wonderful social event with The Hand Project in analogue and live form on site. Even in 2020 we still thought that the restrictions for analogue CSR live events throughout Germany would not apply for very long. Reality taught us otherwise! After the last Corona rules were abolished at the beginning of 2022, analogue live team events in the area of CSR are finally possible again. The desire for a relaxed and communicative encounter with fun is stronger than ever. The structures for working from home are now in place and the majority have gotten used to them or don't want to work any other way. But the casual and so important interpersonal communication during breaks or in the office has fallen by the wayside, the feeling of togetherness has "somehow" gotten lost... You haven't even gotten to know new employees personally, onboarding is limited to professional communication. This all works for a certain time, but as a permanent solution? So we had to think of alternatives and solutions that, on the one hand, ensure the continued existence of the social project The Hand Project with CSR character and, on the other hand, continue to provide people in Uganda, Zimbabwe, India, etc. with free hand prostheses. We also had to find a form of digital team event that conveys the character of a CSR team event and a social day.

Days prior to the event, each team member will receive a package containing “their” The Hand Project kit and the appropriate accessories and tools. On the day of the online team event, all participants will be connected digitally and live. We will moderate the event live online for the entire time. Step by step, we accompany each individual in assembling the The Hand Project kit and give tips. If there are more than 20 participants, we are also there for you with several moderators.

Another possibility is the hybrid event format for The Hand Project. With this digital event solution, some of the participants work in small teams in different departments or locations. These are the team members who participate analogously. The other part of the workforce works in the home office or at completely different locations in Europe or worldwide and will take part virtually.
